Remembering Anime Assault of GMA 7 March,21,2000-April,2001
As you remember my Tokusatsu Primetime Flashback on my Tokupinoy Blogsite wayback 2012-13,Now I'll feature some classic anime timeslots in the Philippines.For remembering my favorite anime primetime GMA Anime Assault aired every weekdays at 6:30 pm.I'm not watching Voltes V ,Daimos and Ghost Fighterin 1999 because I've already finishes those series on IBC 13. So here's the following anime series featured before:
Before I'll feature the following series here's the theme song of GMA's Anime Assault, The DDR 2nd mix song "Stomp it to my Beat" by JS-16.
Hell Teacher Nube (Jigoku Sensei Nube) aired every Mondays 6:30pm from March 2000 to August 2000 and shifted to new timeslot from Monday-Wednesdays-Fridays at 6:30 pm from August to October 2000.This series has uncut scenes when you watch the series through youtube and dailymotion,because of some uncensored things.It's really irritating when it's not return on Philippine TV.
Trigun aired every Monday-Wednesdays-Fridays at 6:30 pm from October 2000 to April 2001 replacing Hell Teacher Nube (Jigoku Sensei Nube). This odd dimension western cowboy motif really rocks ,with funny and action scenes mixed. But this series is really dark when it's started to hunt Vash Stampede till they discover the root of killings in the planet no other than his evil twin brother.
Virtua Fighter aired every Tuesday-Thursday at 7:00 pm from October 2000 to April 2001 and re-airs every weekend morning from 2001 to 2005 together with Monster Rancher.This series looks like Street Fighter with Tekken Fighting Styles.It is created by Sega.It airs only season 1,kinda dissapointing but now I'm watching this one through Youtube.
Ranma 1/2 aired every Tuesdays 6:30 pm from March to August 2000 and shifted to a new timeslot from Monday-Wednesdays-Fridays at 5:30 pm from October 2000 to April 2001.This series re-aired from August to November 2001.This series is previously aired RPN 9 in 1996. The series is only aired from season 1 to 3 and didn't finished the whole series.
Master of Mosquiton 99 aired every Wednesdays at 6:30 pm from March to August 2000 and shifted to new timeslot from Tuesday-Thursday at 4:30 pm from August to November 2000. This is aired after its finished on the previous year 1999 in Japan.
Monster Rancher aired every Thursdays at 6:30 pm from March to August 2000 and shifted to new timeslot from Tuesday-Thursday at 6:30 pm from August to November 2000.This series is similar to Pokemon ,the only difference is the one monster can handle on the individual.It also re-aired every weekend morning from 2001 to 2005.
Bubblegum Crisis 2040 aired every Tuesday-Thursday at 6:30 pm from October 2000 to April 2001 replacing Monster Rancher.It's give me a big curiosity and idea about the future.I also like this Toku-themed heroes Knight Sabres in the series.
Vision of Escaflowne aired every Fridays at 6:30 pm from March to August 2000 and shifted to new timeslot from Tuesday-Thursday at 5:00 pm from August to November 2000,Its re-aired in Qtv Channel 11 every weekday mornings from 2006-07 and afternoons from 2007-08.This is the best anime series and sound track until now.I've never forget the song of Vision of Escaflowne OP-Yakusoku wa Iranai by Maaya Sakamoto and Vision of Escaflowne ED- Mystic Eyes as my stress relieving song after work.Until now I've still watched the series since 2008.
Fushigi Yuugi aired every Fridays at 8:00 pm from March 2000 to April 2001 and re-aired weekdays at 4:00 pm from June to August 2001,and re-airs on TV 5 in 2009.This series is a big hit at that time because of the love story ,but the problem is some uncensored scenes.
For the next throwback I'll be featured ABC 5 Animania from 2001-2004.
bro ako po ay isang big fans ng anme ng gma noon dami kung record ng mga vhs nila noon lahat ata ng anime nila inaabangan ko noon kasing taas nga ng bahay aang mga vhs ko sa bahay namin sa kaabang ng mga tagalog anime nila....meron ak olahat ng mga music video nila lao na an gtheme nila na reanimation..kaso tinapon lahat ng ama ko nilinis nila bahay namin mula ng masira ang vhs player namin kasi tatlo yun dalawa sa recording at isa sa play..nagun gusto ko makit ayung mga music video ng gma noon.reanimation soundtrack by the offspring..dragon ball z music video by the limpbizkit rollin and onstepcloser freeza vs guko..just like a pill detective conan music video..fushigi yuugi love will always win..magic knigth rayeart ghost fighter and smoothcriminal ang music..lahat lahat ng gawa nila meron ako kaso now wala na bigl...sana merong naka pag record para naman maremake natin..
